Suspected Neo-Nazis vandalise Stockholm mosque for third time

A mosque in central Stockholm has been vandalised by suspected Neo-Nazis for the third time since 2014 on Friday night, Imam Mahmoud Khalfi said. The vandalism was extensive this time as the Nazi graffiti (pictured) was on the entire facade, including the back and along the stairs to the subway. Photos posted on the Facebook showed the graffiti in blue spray paint scrawled across the front doors of the Södermalm mosque. Vandals had targeted the mosque as many as 22 times last year. Khalfi told SVT that the mosque’s request to install security cameras has been turned down several times by authorities citing privacy concerns. Khalfi said the mosque is ready to accept all demands to limit privacy intrusions.
