Republic TV predicts 73-82 seats for Congress, 95-114 for BJP, 32-43 for JD(S) and 2-3 for others. India Today-Axis exit poll predicts 106-118 seats for Congress, 79-92 for BJP and 22-30 seats for JD(S). Times Now exit poll predicts 90-103 seats for Congress, 80-93 for BJP and 31-39 for JD(S). Today’s Chanakya poll predicts 73 seats for Congress, 120 seats for BJP and 26 seats for JD(S). Local Kannada channel, Suvarna’s exit poll predicts 106 to 118 seats for Congress; 79-92 seats for BJP; 22-30 seats for JD (S) and 1-4 seats for others. Of the eight exit polls announced so far, four indicate a hung house. Election Commission said the voter turnout has reached 70% till 6 pm. The figure is likely to go up. Election results will be announced after the counting of votes on May 15.
