Couple hurt in freak accident in US church

A Tennessee couple is being treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds received in a freak accident at a church during a discussion on the recent church shooting in Texas. They were among elder members of the First United Methodist Church in Tellico Plains gathered there on Thursday afternoon. During discussion, someone asked if anyone had brought a gun. A man pulled his gun out, emptied the magazine and chamber and passed it around. After the gun was returned to him, he loaded it again when he accidentally pulled the trigger.
